Train hazard timing separately
Use practice clips to distinguish a potential hazard from one that is developing. Click when something begins to make a safe driver change speed or direction, and avoid continuous or patterned clicking. Review what visibly changed at the moment you responded.
Use mock tests as a check, not the whole plan
Take full mock tests after topic study, under quiet timed conditions. Look for consistent passes rather than one lucky result. Spend the next session on the weakest categories, then take another mixed mock to check that the improvement transfers.
Prepare for the actual appointment
Check the current GOV.UK instructions, test-centre details and required identification in advance. Get normal sleep and arrive with enough time to settle. Last-minute notes are best used to refresh a small number of facts, not to learn the entire syllabus.
